STABLE BELTS

The Selous Scouts had two issues of Stable belts. The 1st issue is unstamped on the reverse of the buckle. The weave of the webbing of the belt is also courser than the 2nd issue. The 2nd issue Stable belt is stamped ‘Reuteler Mfg, Salisbury’ on the reverse of the buckle. As far as the stampings are concerned some were on the top bar of the buckle and at other times on the bottom bar.
